Shukry Cattan

Established by Meymuna and her mother, this organization continues to be operated by the family. Both Meymuna and her husband Shukry work side-by-side to support community members with similar histories. Shukry reflected on his family’s journey and made an interpretation rooted in the beauty—not just the struggle. It was from his Palestinian roots of displacement that Shukry Cattan, Director of Operations for Tiyya Foundation, was born. His story shows connectedness as the tangible fruit of his adaptability.
